Regional Natural Park of Monts d'Ardeche

The Park project was born at the initiative of castanéiculteurs - producers of chestnuts.

Recognized nationally for its strong heritage and landscape, the Regional Natural Park of Monts d'Ardeche based on strong common characteristics: scenery, rural skills, volcanism, rivers, and blueberry production chestnuts, religious history, mills and milling, terraces, ...

The park displays many different faces: between Boutières (watershed area of the valley Eyrieux), saps the volcanic massif Mezenc, the plate of Vernoux, the High Cevennes - which is the central part of the Park of  Cevennes Piedmont - which borders the park to Aubenas Vans, and the southern Cévennes in the south.
